Privacy policy

To see how the site is used and make it better, we use two analytics services.

Vercel Web Analytics, from Vercel Inc., which also hosts the site, counts the pages you visit, the site you came from, your browser, operating system and type of device, and your country. It sets no cookies and doesn’t identify you.

Google Analytics, from Google LLC, records the pages you visit, how long you stay, how you reached the site, your approximate location, your device and your browser. It sets cookies in your browser to tell one visit from another. You can block them in your browser’s settings, or use Google’s opt-out add-on.

We look at these figures only in aggregate, to understand how the site is used. We don’t sell them or use them to advertise to you.

When you tap a WhatsApp button, you leave the site for WhatsApp, with a message typed in for you. Nothing reaches us until you send it.

If you do, we receive your phone number, your WhatsApp name and what you write. We use them only to answer you: to quote, arrange a site survey or a visit, and install and service your lift. WhatsApp’s own handling of your chat is covered by its privacy policy.

The same goes for anything you send us by phone or email.

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, it receives your IP address and details of each request, such as your browser, to deliver the pages and keep the site secure.

The site remembers whether you turned its sound off, in your browser’s storage. That stays on your device and isn’t sent to us.

We don’t sell your information. We share it only with the services named here, which run the site and our messages, and when the law requires us to.

We keep your messages and details for as long as we need them to serve you, and for as long as the law requires.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser, and use the site without them. You can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
